Our day started early. Awoke to a odd sound, some kind of siren. Thunder and lightning, then came the rain. The wind started to pick up and the rain got harder. Within minutes the motor home was shaking back and forth in the wind. Ted, mom and myself watched out the window as the parking lot flooded and the neighbouring trucks rocked and swayed in the wind, while Ned slept right through it. Calmed down as quick as it came, and then picked back up for a bit, then the storm was all but gone. Back to sleep for a hour or two. Found out in the morning that the siren was a tornado warning device. Breakfast, a few groceries and on the road again. Today we planed on conquering Chicago. Drove, reststop, drove, reststop, then drove some more. Thru Chicago with out a hitch, ran away from another storm on the interstate, and not only conquered Wisconsin, Illinois, but Indiana and michigan as well, all in one day. Ended the day in Howe Indiana at the walmart country club. Howe Just happens to be where grandpas fifthwheel was made. He plans to go see them in the morning to see if he can get a few issues resolved.
