Day 2

Homemade pancakes and turkey bacon for breakfast and then back to the motorhome for the first unexpected event. WHATS THAT NOISE???  That's not good !! A few phone calls and we were on our way to Dundee Auto Electric. Alternator out, repaired and reinstalled all within a hour. Wow! and only $30. Once repaired we were on the road to Fort Langley where Ned and Ted got to hold the black powder muskets, try black smithing and panning for gold. Learned about the fur trade and the beginnings of BC. Off to manning park on the search for gophers. Dinner in the park and then on to Penticton where we spent our first night at the Walmart country club.
