Up early and off to see Old Faithful. What a site to see. Every part of yellowstone makes you pause and think about the amazing earth God created for us all to enjoy. The steam vents, the geysers, the hot springs, the forest, the plains, the canyons, the rivers, the lakes, and the wildlife all together makes yellowstone a must see.
When we arrived in the park yesterday and asked a ranger where to go to see wolves we got a response something like, there are only about 140 wolves in yellowstone and they sleep during the day and hunt at night so you have little to no chance to see a wolf! This was disappointing news for Ted.
Well today as we were exploring the park on the drive back from old faithful, we came upon a bunch of cars pulled over with people running across the road and up onto a grass hill. We pulled off the road as soon as we could about 300 yards down the rd and tried to figure out what we were supposed to be looking at. Out in the open field in the middle of the day were two wolves! We watched them stalk, run, and play for close to 1 hr before we continued on.
It brought tears to my eyes when Ted turned to me and said, HE DOES ANSWER PRAYERS!! That's how a wolf builds a young boys faith.

Thank you for answered prayers!
