Day 20

Today was a day of education and travel. On the road by 10:30. Yes we were slow to get going today but that's what great about no set plan. Crossed into Quebec and was greated by road construction, and bridge construction. Lots of narrow lanes and bumpy roads. Not being the type of people to turn away from a little adventure we turned off the rough freeway and into Montreal to visit the Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site. We navigated thru narrow residential streets lined by overhanging trees to a beautiful little national park. Here Ned and Ted got to learn about the fur trade, identify furs, dress like a voyageur, practice paddling a canoe, and even a little geocaching. It was very informative and well worth the stop. A quick bite to eat, then back on the road, more twists, turns and detours, and the decision was made that we would visit more of Quebec on the way home. Cruise control on and here we come New Brunswick. Edmundston walmart was the campground of choice.
