Day 26
Today we conquer Halifax! Quick 35 min drive into halifax, drop grandpas unit off in a walmart parking lot and we all pile into the motorhome and head to the waterfront. First suprize was that Parking the motorhome was no problem. We went for a stroll along the docks, Ned and Ted played on the cool playground, and chose to do a tour of a corvette class navy boat. The tour was very informative and allowed us all to climb all over the boat and see what it was like to be onboard in such close quarters for the 96 man crew. The boys were pretty impressed by the self guided tour. We then continued on down the oceanfront where grandma tried out a Segway. She did great! Then Ned and Ted got to go for a tour on the harbour hopper with their grandparents while mom and dad went for a walk and a roll down a big grass hill. Once we all met back at the motorhome we had a snack and tried chocolate covered bacon. Ned really liked it! Then we were off to the Halifax Citadal where we got to pretend we were spys, tour a military museum, look at the granite buildings and check out the canons.
