Day 25

Today we visited Peggy's cove. I have to admitt that I was suprized by how tastefully the community has delt with the Swiss air tragedy in there tourism and monuments honouring the lost. Ned and Ted had a great time climbing on the rocks and watching the surf. Ted even made a comment in regards that climbing on the rocks was much better than shopping for learning materials with mom or for a coffee mug with grandma. They were both disappointed that they couldn't go into the lighthouse, but enjoyed it just the same. A little shopping and a coffee, then back on the road to Lunenburg. Stopped for a picnic lunch in a pretty little town called Mahone Bay, where Ned and Ted talked to a few locals on the dock.
Arrived in Lunenburg, to find the Bluenose 2 tied to the dock but closed to tours. Walked thru town enjoying the sites. All the buildings had so much character. Back to the campsite just before dinner time allowed Ned and Ted to have a few bike races around the campground. Dinner and a few more episodes of the Lone Ranger before calling it a night.
